Elizabeth F. Smith

Elizabeth Ferdinand Smith has lived in Loudoun County for most of her life and attended Loudoun County High School. Elizabeth graduated from Mary Washington College, now the University of Mary Washington, in 1989 with a B. A. in American Studies.

During and after college, Elizabeth began working for Joe Ritenour at Papa John’s Café, Scoopers Deli, and The Athlete’s Foot. She began work as Joe’s full time legal assistant in1990. Her duties include bookkeeping and management for the law office. Elizabeth is in charge of correspondence and pleadings relating to the various case files, criminal and civil. She conducts initial client interviews, manages Joe’s busy calendar, and oversees files from opening to closing.

Elizabeth is married to William A. Smith, Jr.; they have two children, Hanah and Cullen, and live in western Loudoun County. Elizabeth belongs to St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Purcellville, Virginia.
